Canadian – I have seen the benefits and disadvantages of a socialist society. This has influenced my position on social programs and economic philosophy.
Middle Class Family - My parents worked hard for a living and were taxed accordingly to their income levels. I felt that the tax was fair given their income.
Religion – Moderate Catholic Household – We did not attend church regularly however my parents supported the Catholic religious traditions. I think that this has had an influence on my social philosophy.
Parent’s Political Philosophy – One of my parents was a moderate and one conservative. My parents spoke often about politics at home and I feel that this been a huge contributor to my own personal political label.
